Moving south, further inland, we have Baunei, a mountain village leading to one of the most beautiful Mediterranean seas. Here, you can see canyons such as Gorropu, karst valleys, steep limestone cliffs and Su Sterru, the famous Golgo chasm, a natural crevice that is almost 300 metres deep.
In the forest near the Golgo, get ready for challenging hikes to reach the amazing Cala Goloritzé, a rocky bay boasting a blinding turquoise colour, as well as other lesser-known bays along the Selvaggio Blu, one of the most demanding yet panoramic treks in Italy.
